Duanesburg Community Parent Teacher Association (DCPTA) was founded on October 1, 2017. Our mission is to create an environment in which every child in our community can reach their full potential through collaboration with families, our school district, community members and local businesses.

DCPTA is active in creating programs and events that foster this mission and bring our community together. We also actively support the goals and needs of other groups in the Duanesburg school district through grants and financial awards.

DCPTA is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that is a chapter of National PTA. We work closely with nationally, state and regional representatives to advocate and provide services on behalf of the Duanesburg community. You can learn more about advocacy efforts on the NYSPTA website.

Our executive board is composed of elected board members and appointed committee chairs. Each spring, DCPTA members vote on a slate of open board positions and our annual budget.
